Sara Lacey took some time at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show to interview Janette Fennell, the founder of Kids and Cars. Kids and Cars is an organization that focuses on preventing non-moving car accidents involving children. Incidents involving vehicles backing up over children, or accidents involving power windows, occur far more often than you probably expect. Janette talks about the aims of her group and the legislation it recently helped pass in Congress requiring the government to begin keeping track of injuries and deaths caused by non-moving vehicles.
