Recall Alert: 2010 Toyota Camry

Feb 09 2010 by Jennifer Newman

Marking the Japanese automaker’s third recall in the first two months of 2010, Toyota has issued a recall for 7,300 Camry vehicles from the 2010 model year, according to the company.

This recall only affects Camrys with a four-cylinder engine. The problem is with a power-steering hose that may be in contact with a front brake tube, which could create a hole in the tube and allow brake fluid to leak. This could negatively impact the effectiveness of braking in the vehicle.

Owners of the affected 2010 Camrys will get a mailed notification in the middle of February, Toyota says. More information is available at www.toyota.com/recall, and owners may contact the Toyota Customer Experience Center at 800-331-4331.
