The Class of ’87 Turns 40; Notes to Self
My 20th high school reunion is next year. I’m not sure how it snuck up on me, but I’m actually looking forward to it. Of course, a 20th reunion means one thing: We’re officially old. Blogger Kyran Pittman recently attended a high school reunion. She writes, “judging by the horrified expressions of the twentysomethings who watched our takeover of their night club on Broadway last night, it’s fair to say the Class of ’87 is officially middle-aged.”

Blogger Jenn nearly had a panic attack when she saw the rows and rows of school supplies at her local store. While I’m not having panic attacks, I’ll admit that the school-supply displays are stressing me out because I have no idea what my first-grader will need for next year. I recently caved and bought my son a new backpack and lunchbox. I’m not sure I’ll be able to resist the siren song of the 24-pack of crayons much longer.
