Mini’s New Crossover Concept Could Be Perfect for Mommies

Concept Car Would Have Four-Wheel Drive
Mini’s latest concept car, the Crossover Concept, is anything but small. The four-wheel-drive concept is larger than the Clubman and has three regular passenger doors and a sliding door on the rear driver’s side. Hubba, hubba.
Mini Cooper purists aren’t happy about the Crossover, because this concept car is pretty, well, non-Cooper-esque. Cars.com’s blog KickingTires speculates that’s the reason “Cooper” isn’t included in its name. Now, I love a Mini Cooper, but Mini cars should stay mini, right? Otherwise, what’s the point?
But on the other, more realistic hand, the Crossover Concept could be a dream come true for me and other moms who love smaller cars. One of my major small-car barriers is that I live in Colorado and prefer something with at least all-wheel drive for the winter months. Problem solved with the Crossover Concept, and it looks fun, too. If Mini throws in its MotherProof.com-award-winning Latch connectors, I’d be one happy mama.

Oh boy - I just drove the MINI Cooper S and I have to say, I fell in love quick. This new concept seems to make improvements in all the right places - I second the Hubba Hubba on this one!
I really like this idea, and it really is more realistic for those out there who need more room, or if someone ever wanted a 3 door cooper, here it is! I like the idea. and it isn’t big or ugly….

I think it is extremely cute and considering the ground clearance, it’s STILL a mini.
