Lincoln MKT Video Sheds Light on New Crossover

I’ve been intrigued by the 2010 Lincoln MKT since I first saw it as a concept car at the 2008 Detroit auto show. The 2010 MKT was revealed at the 2009 Detroit auto show, and since then I’ve been curious to see how the production model differed from the concept.

This video below told me everything I needed to know about the MKT.

The video by Mike Hanley of Cars.com, MotherProof’s parent site, is a must-see if you’re considering this crossover, which goes on sale this summer. Yeah, he gets a little gearheady for me (we love that about you, Mike!) but it’s worth watching the whole video just to see how the third row works or doesn’t work. OK, it’s kind of funny to watch even if you’re not considering this crossover.

My fellow mom-reviewer Sherrice Gilsbach, who covered the 2009 Detroit auto show for MotherProof.com, liked the MKT. She said it’s a luxurious three-row crossover that any mom would be thrilled to drive. I’d add one caveat to that: Watch out for the third row!
