Hot or Not: The Shaggin’ Waggin’
Aug 03 2009 by Kristin Varela
During my first Fourth of July weekend without my daughters (they were on a road trip with their grandparents), I was in Steamboat Springs, Colo., and in dire need of some good, clean, grownup fun that would distract me from my personal pity party. I got more than I bargained for from the Shaggin’ Waggin’.
Upon my arrival in town, I stumbled upon the colorful Shaggin’ Waggin.’ “If this van’s a rockin’, don’t come knockin’” is what’s written on the beat-up, rusty love van. Eww! I felt creepy just photographing this crazy van.
As I sat at an outdoor café, the Shaggin’ Waggin’ story just kept unfolding. An older gentleman climbed into the van and futilely attempted to start it. He then enlisted the help of some beefy-looking locals to push the van to the other side of the street for a jump start.
Apparently, love (or sex) isn’t all you need. The Shaggin’ Waggin’ died a sad and public death right there in the middle of the road. Is this Shaggin’ Waggin’ a Hot or Not? Or is it just plain creepy? Tell us in the comment section below.

I think its cool. Glad someone had the guts to paint the van like that.
