Batmobile Should be Made for Moms

Loiter, Intimidate Modes Would Come in Handy
The Batmobile might not look like a mom-mobile, but it has a few features I think moms worldwide might like. The fierce-looking car stars in the latest Batman movie, “The Dark Knight,” along with the hunky Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman and the late (and very hunky, though not in this role) Heath Ledger as the Joker.
The Batmobile is part Lamborghini and part Hummer. It was made from scratch by some savvy folks in the United Kingdom, but unfortunately you can’t buy one anywhere — it’s a just-for-the-movie car. You can, however, daydream about how some of the Batmobile’s features might fit into your life. Moreover, you can daydream that someone will manufacture a car someday that actually includes these features to make a mother’s life slightly easier.
In “The Dark Knight,” the Batmobile’s control panel shows us that the car has both a Loiter and an Intimidate mode. The Loiter mode simply brings the Batmobile to an idle, allowing it to appear calm and cool — somehow more so than any other car that’s idling. Imagine using this mode while waiting in the carpool lane or stopping at a red light. You’d be the bat’s meow.
But the Intimidate mode is where it really gets good. This mode actually fires a few things off the front of the Batmobile to, well, intimidate any foes. That’s a little harsh, I realize, but if a manufacturer refined this feature to somehow intimidate your kiddos into a tranquil mode when they’re acting up, it would be pretty sweet. I mean, my son always quiets down the minute I ask him to (OK, he totally doesn’t); a little back-up intimidation would be nice.
And finally, the Batmobile seems to be sturdy beyond belief. If you get in any fender-benders, I guarantee that you’ll walk away from them unscathed. Even if the fender-bender is so bad the Batmobile is beyond repair, you’ll still be OK, and the Batmobile’s front wheels turn into a motorcycle to speed you off to your next meeting or the grocery store or wherever!
Of course, Bruce Wayne does drive a pretty blue Lamborghini toward the end of the film, and I could actually see myself more in that. But if a Lamborghini doesn’t have an Intimidate mode, I might have to reconsider...

TROP TROP BELLE LA BATMOBILLE
Oh yes, who wouldn’t be attracted with that car {car parts}?! It’s great and fantastic in style. Great moms would prefer this one!

great post… it’s too bad that people keep bothering Christian Bale about these rumors, he seems like a solid guy in general
