As a Detroit-area native, I’ll be the first to say that glitz and glamour don’t often collide in Detroit. Once a year, however, for a short time in January, the spotlights hit the “D” for the North American International Auto Show.
It’s an event I’ve always looked forward to, and this year I’m thrilled to be attending the Detroit auto show on the press side of the aisle. I’ll be searching the show floor for the most kid-ready rides that offer the perfect blend of safety and style.
Some of the cars on my “must-see” list are:
• the newly redesigned Toyota Prius
• a lux sedan for families, the Buick LaCrosse
• the most family-friendly car of all, the Maserati Quattroporte Sport GTS (kidding!)
Join me in the excitement starting this Sunday.
interesting auto show..surely car enthusiasts will be attending there.. Detroit auto show (monroe shocks) got to be the first on my list!
