2009 Chevrolet Traverse LT

Dec 18 2008

Before I even test-drove the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse, I was already a bit of a fangirl of the Traverse’s “raining shoes” commercial. I’ve had the raining shoe dream, and each time I see that commercial I just smile. So kind of like Jerry Maguire, Chevy “had me at hello” with the Traverse’s marketing campaign

Rocketron Delivers News via Cell Phone

Dec 17 2008

I love to listen to the news in my car, but sometimes I have to turn the radio down when a story is a little inappropriate for my kiddos. I don’t have to miss out on the news anymore with Rocketron, a timely newscast you can access with your cell phone.

Ford’s Sync Keeps Getting Better

Dec 04 2008

The first time I tested Ford’s Sync, an in-car, voice-activated communication and media system, it failed to live up to its name and synch to my cell phone. But Sync recently redeemed itself when I test drove a 2009 Mercury Mariner equipped with it.

Merging the Best Car Features of the Big Three

Nov 28 2008

With all of the financial strife in the auto industry, I’ve been thinking about a solution where all three American manufacturers merged. What are the best features I would want to take from each company’s products?

Tattoo-Like Decals Add Style to Car’s Exterior

Nov 04 2008

Maybe I like the car stickers at Infectious.com because they don’t give away anything too personal about me (other than my willingness to deface my car with giant stickers), or maybe it’s because I appreciate the cool artwork. For whatever reason, I’m seriously thinking about getting some.

Cars Mask Their Family-Hauling Abilities

Oct 31 2008

In the spirit of Halloween, I’m unmasking family cars that parade around in disguise, in costume if you will. There are three vehicles types that are hot-looking or fun rides; the kind of rides our less-encumbered sisters flaunt at every chance (who could blame them, really). But under their costumes, they’re really family cars.

Chevy Targets Women with Shopping, Music

Oct 22 2008

It was the high-heeled shoe logo and the chance to win a shoe-shopping spree in New York City that first caught my eye on the Shop, Rock & Roll website. I didn’t even notice that the high heel was made of Chevy logos. It wasn’t until I stumbled upon the same site a few days later that I realized it was a giant advertisement for Chevy.

Women Only Transport

Oct 15 2008

An interesting trend I’ve noticed these days is an array of women-only services cropping up. I’m not talking just spas and personal shoppers, but women-only taxi services and buses.

Website Helps Increase Your Fuel Efficiency

Oct 13 2008

I drive 20,000 miles a year and I didn’t even realize it until recently. But EcoDrivingUSA.com has helped me become more aware of ways to maximize my fuel efficiency.

GM used bloggers and its interactive media platform GMNext to celebrate its 100-year history as well as to broadcast a live reveal of the 2010 plug-in electric car, the Chevy Volt.
