Join MotherProof.com at the 2009 L.A. Auto Show

Nov 30 2009 by Jennifer Newman

MotherProof.com is headed to Los Angeles to soak up some sun and check out some hot cars at the L.A. Auto Show on Wednesday and Thursday.

With an eye on family cars, we’re most excited about the 2011 Toyota Sienna, with its better gas mileage and new family features, as well as the redesigned 2011 Kia Sorento and 2011 Hyundai Tucson.

For parents looking for a sporty second car, Ford offers the Fiesta and Mazda is debuting the Mada2. The Chevy Cruze, a stylish compact, is a strong contender, too. These fun cars could be the perfect vehicle for teen drivers — if you’re willing to hand over the keys.

While we’re checking out the cars, we’ll also tell you about any hot trends we spot on the auto show’s floor. Look for our coverage in the News & Rants section of our website.

The show takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It’s open to the public Friday-Dec. 13; tickets are $12 for adults and children 12 and younger get free admission when accompanied by an adult. For show details and ticket information, visit the auto show’s website at www.laautoshow.com.
