I love the comfort and the features and how well it fit my kids and all our stuff, but when it came time to let it go, it was the drive that I really hated to see leave.
The Q5 broke my heart and left me crying on the side of the road. Not through any fault of its own, only because the people at Audi are mean and they wouldn’t let me keep it.
I’ve always had a crush on the Acura MDX, so getting a week to spend in it was kind of exciting. Of course, no fantasy turns out perfectly, and the reality of the MDX was somewhat less than perfect – as reality often is.
My family believed the A4 was truly magical, and maybe we’re onto something. It’s sporty and powerful for the performance driver, yet safe and practical for the day-to-day driver.
From the outside, the CC is incredibly smooth-looking — think stilettos and a black mini dress. This car turns heads and even gets people to point; that’s something I usually discourage my kids from doing, but in this case I told them it was a compliment.

The 2009 BMW X5 xDrive35d and I ended our two weeks together with mixed feelings toward each other. Put another way, I developed what can only be described as a love/hate relationship with this car.
What pushes the 2009 Toyota RAV4 into chick-car territory is the fact that the SUV can be described as “cute” or “small.” Instantly, all masculine street cred is kicked to the adorable pink curb of chick-cardom.

2009 Chevrolet Traverse - 4/20/09
MSRP: $29,215 - $41,975 | MPG: 23 Hwy, 17 CityDetails: 7 Seats, 3 Rows, 2 Latch Connectors
Just when you thought Detroit was being overrun by men in pinstriped suits, along comes Sue Wilson, the vehicle line director for the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse. A modern mom of four, Sue knows what we want in a car, and she’s delivered (mostly).

2009 Honda Civic Hybrid - 4/16/09
MSRP: $23,650 - $23,650 | MPG: 45 Hwy, 40 CityDetails: 5 Seats, 2 Rows, 2 Latch Connectors
The Civic Hybrid sounds like a great idea, but the pricey reality just falls flat.
