ChicBuds a Great Fit for Hands-Free Cell Phone Use
Oct 23 2009 by Courtney Messenbaugh
The car is often the one place I can chat on the phone. I’m a big proponent of hands-free cell phone laws, however, I haven’t found a Bluetooth headset that fits in my ears (notoriously small) and avoids making me look like Britney Spears with her onstage headset. As if they were specifically addressing my own quandary, ChicBuds makes the Pinktooth, a wireless headset for women.
Adorned with Swarovski Crystals, the Pinktooth offers crystal clear sound (pun intended), is small and lightweight, and comes in a couple of different ear-bud covers to fit even the daintiest of ears. The packaging is stylish, and it’s easy to set up so you’ll be gabbing with your gal pals in no time. The Pinktooth has six hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time.
While I was driving around town, I used the Pinktooth to talk to everyone I’ve neglected for the past three years or so. The headset even seemed to inoculate me against my personal noisemakers in the backseat, and no one I called ever complained about the cacophony of kids that is my backseat.
Lest you worry that the Swarovski Crystals might be a bit much for your discerning taste, trust me when I tell you that I usually think flashy equals trashy. However, the Pinktooth has just the right amount of bling. It comes in pink or white crystals and retails for $48. For more information, go to ChicBuds.com.
ChicBuds also manufactures a line of earphones for MP3 players that are also sized for smaller ears and adorned with the Swarovski crystals. The earphones even come in kids’ sizes. Just make sure not to wear your earphones while driving.
