Scotch Lint Sheets Aid in Mom’s Clean-Car Dream

Nov 21 2008 by Kristin Varela

My latest test car is a lovely 2009 Mazda RX-8 with a show-every-little-crumb-and-kid-tidbit black interior. All I could think about while driving this car was how to get the nano-crumbs out of the seat crevices without having to drag out the Shop-Vac. This is why a wave of excitement washed over me when I discovered Scotch Lint Sheets.

I found the Scotch Lint Sheets (40 sheets, $3.83) by 3M while perusing the aisles of my local Container Store (doesn’t everybody have a positive emotional reaction to that store?). The sticky sheets are intended for removing lint off clothing when you’re on the go. But what those geniuses at 3M forgot to use as a marketing hook is that they’re also brilliant for lifting lint, small crumbs and even dusty footprints from the inside of a mom’s car.

The best part is that they come in a great pocket-sized to-go pack with fun, modern designs on the front. These will find permanent homes in my purse and my car’s glove box.
