If you’ve ever been in a car accident, big or small, you know how unsettling it can be. Even a minor fender-bender can make the sturdiest of us melt down. One thing I remember from my experience with auto accidents (there aren’t many, and they weren’t all my fault, you know) is that I completely forgot what to do. Subsequent issues with insurance companies only added to the nightmare.
That’s why the Collision.kit by www.getbuttonedup.com is a dream. It’s a small zippered folio that contains instructions on what to do in an accident, and it has paperwork to collect all the information you need. There’s even a form that has your information on it for you to give the other driver. In addition, there’s a pen and a disposable camera so you can get pictures of the accident scene and the vehicles. An additional envelope meant to house your insurance card and registration makes any vehicular incident easier.
I would have loved having something like this in my glove box when dealing with the accidents I was in. It would keep you relatively sane, keep you from forgetting anything and, I imagine, help ensure someone else (including a witness) doesn’t fail to give you the information you need from them. Parents, this is a great idea for your new teen drivers. I’m going to get Collision.kits as gifts for all the new teen drivers cropping up on my block.
Really, isn’t anything that helps you get over an accident quicker a dream?

That would make a great gift. Actually, it would be a neat idea if dealers could personalize the cover with their logo and give them out with every car sold.
